Day 1: Walvis Bay to Rooikop

Morning: Depart from Walvis Bay early in the morning, ensuring you have all necessary supplies for the journey, including food, water, and fuel.

Drive from Walvis Bay via Rooikop, taking the C14 route. This drive offers stunning desert landscapes, with the chance to see wildlife such as ostriches, springbok, and oryx along the way.

Late Afternoon: Arrive and set up camp in the desert.Take some time to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the desert surroundings.

Evening: Prepare dinner at your campsite, perhaps enjoying a barbecue under the stars. Take in the breathtaking views of the desert sky before retiring for the night.

Day 2:

Morning: Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert. After breakfast, pack up and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Mid-morning to Afternoon:

We embarked on a drive towards Conception Bay, exploring the old diamond towns along the way. Beginning in Bay Roberts or Carbonear, we delved into the rich history of diamond mining, learning about the miners' struggles and triumphs. Continuing through Clarke's Beach and Harbour Grace, we marveled at the picturesque coastline and absorbed the resilient spirit of those who once thrived in the diamond mining industry. It was a journey brimming with history, culture, and the rugged beauty of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Evening: Enjoy a quiet dinner at your camping area, savoring the fresh sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Reflect on the day's journey and the unique landscapes you've encountered.

Day 3:

Morning: Start your day with a leisurely breakfast, taking in views of the ocean from your camping site.

Mid-morning to Afternoon: Today's exploration centered around Edward Bolen and its surroundings in Conception Bay South. We began by enjoying the tranquility of the lush trails before heading to nearby beaches for relaxation. In the late afternoon, we visits the Shawnee shipwreck site, immersing ourselves in the coastal ambiance and reflecting on the region's maritime history.

Evening: We enjoyed dinner with an ocean view before taking a sunset stroll along the beach at Langewand, Sandwich Harbour. Amidst the tranquil sounds of waves and the soft sands underfoot, we appreciated the natural beauty of the rugged coastline and the golden hues of the setting sun, making for a perfect end to the day.

Day 4:

Morning: Dismantling camp at dawn, embark on an adrenaline-fueled journey through the Namib Desert's roaring dunes. Passing Sandwich Harbour, experience the breathtaking landscape where desert meets ocean. With skill and precision, navigate the undulating terrain, reveling in the exhilarating rush of dune driving. Return to Walvis Bay, at noon. Filled with a sense of accomplishment and awe at the raw beauty of the desert.
